About Emma
Hi, I’m Emma, I’ve been a Book-keeper for nearly 20 years, I started my career working for Andover’s largest accountancy practice way back in 1988, I really enjoyed helping out the accountants with their work and the satisfaction of helping clients with their day to day needs, I enjoyed it so much I signed myself up at the local college to learn more about the business and get myself qualified.
For the last 15 years I’ve taken various opportunities to do the job I love. I’ve helped set up numerous small companies for local entrepreneurs and assisted them as they’ve steadily grown their own businesses. I’ve gained a lot of experience working with the various companies understanding their needs, assisting with their payroll which in addition to the book-keeping services I offer is a real plus point.
I’m currently assisting numerous small companies carrying out their day to day books, doing their tax returns and offering free advice whenever they need it. I’m here 24/7 for my clients, I know the worry they can go through and will always be there to help out where I can.
About Amy
Hey! My name’s Amy and I’m Emma’s daughter and now business partner. Ever since I was young, I have watched my mum training to be a bookkeeper and doing her own self-employed work. I loved helping her out and always asked a million questions. When I went to college, I decided I wanted to learn more about accountancy and took A-Level accountancy and in my second year picked up AAT. 4 years later, I am AATQB qualified and continuing to study to develop myself further and offer better opportunities for our business in the future.
Within my 4 years of the accounting background, I have worked in an accountancy practice completing VAT returns, purchase ledgers, sales ledgers and accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as well as working in a finance role in a big company.
As a young woman, I am a super approachable, friendly face and always love picking up jobs I’m not familiar with so I can broaden my knowledge. There is no problem too big or too small that it cannot be solved in my books!
